Every year, Shmaltz Brewing Company accepts a select number of talented and motivated college students and recent grads who are interested in getting real world experience in multiple areas of business including event coordination, promotions, marketing, sales, and web marketing, as well as professional experience in areas of specialty foods, culture and entertainment, and the Jewish community. No experience is required -- just a desire to learn and a willingness to go above and beyond!
Helpful Skills and Attributes Include:
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with all levels of the company and with a wide array of customers and business contacts.
- Self-motivated and independent with excellent research and problem solving skills.
- Willingness to be a part of and have a direct impact on an ever changing, ever growing business.
- Passion to learn, take on responsibility, and get the most out of this fun and educational experience.
- Ability to have fun, smile, laugh, enjoy people, and enjoy life.
- A sense of humor and a taste for the best craft beers are a plus!
The HE'BREW Internship will give you broad, substantial, real world experience. We ask for a minimum commitment of 5 hours a week. Every additional hour you can dedicate up to full time will be thoroughly productive. Here is the perfect opportunity to use your talents to directly impact the growth of a national grass roots business which has been featured on NPR, CNN, the Today Show, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Jerusalem Report, and more.
We are currently accepting resumes in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Seattle, though we can use you wherever you are around the country if you have a computer and a cell phone... Washington DC, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and beyond.
The Chosen Internship is not a paid position; however, there are often opportunities to earn extra money throughout the school year.
